Actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan has paid $1,900,000 to purchase a newly built, five-bedroom house in Los Angeles' Studio City area.
The good people over at Blockshopper broke the story the other day of the December 4 purchase of the 4,611-square-foot house by Morgan, who probably is best known for having done a recurring turn as a heart transplant patient on TV's "Grey's Anatomy," but who also had a major role in the CW series "Supernatural." Morgan also is known for being a Robert Downey, Jr. (and Javier Bardem) lookalike.

Built in 2008, Morgan's new Mediterranean-style house has five baths, African walnut floors, Walker Zanger tiles, a cook's kitchen with Viking appliances, a spiral staircase, exposed beams, a wine closet, a full wet bar, four fireplaces, archways, and a master suite with a balcony, according to public records and listing information. Outdoor features on the 0.17-acre (7,290-square-foot) lot include a pool and spa, according to public records and listing information.
The house had been listed for $1,995,000.
The house is just up the block from a two-story, 3,996-square-foot house that actor Steve Carell sold in 2007 for $1,500,000. Carell now owns a house in Los Angeles' Toluca Lake area.
