Versatile actor Gary Anthony Williams has sold his longtime home in Los Angeles' North Hollywood area for $578,000, and the purchase price for his new house -- in Los Angeles' Sherman Oaks -- now can be revealed: the actor paid $1,400,000 for his new house in Sherman Oaks.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on both developments. Back on April 30, we wrote about Williams' new, 3,059-square-foot house (pictured) in Sherman Oaks, for which the Los Angeles Times at that time had reported that Williams had paid about $1.5 million. Now, public records reveal that the "Boston Legal" actor actually paid $1,400,000 on March 20 for the four-bedroom house in Sherman Oaks, which had been listed for $1,475,000. His new house has a den, three bathrooms, a formal living room with crown moldings and a bay window, a game room with a fireplace and a wet bar, a resort-like lanai and a large pool, a family room with a vaulted ceiling, a kitchen with granite counters, a 20-by-40-foot pool, a shaded patio and a garage that has been converted to an office/studio, according to listing information.

In our April 30 post, we also had wondered whether Williams would sell his now-former house at 13157 Crewe Street in Los Angeles' North Hollywood area, which the actor purchased in 1999 for $230,000, according to public records. Now, public records reveal that Williams fetched $578,000 for that three-bedroom, 2,150-square-foot house, which he had listed for $599,000. That house has two and a half baths, a den and a large bonus room with a pool table, a covered patio and surround sound system wiring, all on a corner lot on a cul-de-sac street.
