Actor Ed O’Neill, best known for his role as Al Bundy on TV’s “Married… with Children,” has sold his three bedroom, 3,089-square-foot house in Beverly Hills, Calif. for $1,900,000. In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report that on June 14, O’Neill and his wife, Catherine Rusoff O’Neill, sold the house at 9477 Gloaming Drive, which they had purchased in 1996 for $499,000, according to public records. Built in 1957 and listed for $1,995,000 and later for $1,975,000, O’Neill’s former house has three baths and sits on a 0.65-acre parcel, according to public records and listing information. Unfortunately, little other information about the house remains available to us. Check out the website for the house, which at press time was marginally active.. O’Neill’s former street has had no shortage of other celebrity residents over the years. The 1,874-square-foot house of the late actor and comedian Charles Nelson Reilly, who had owned that house from 1970 until his death in May, is down the street at 2341 Gloaming Way. And actor Aaron Eckhart also lives on the street, in a three-bedroom, 3,016-square-foot house on more than an acre that he purchased in May 2002, according to public records. Where is O’Neill moving? It’s not 100% clear to us, but it appears that he purchased a three-bedroom, 2,104-square-foot house in January in Santa Monica, Calif. for an undisclosed price, according to public records. He made that purchase under his own name, while the Gloaming Drive house most recently had been in his wife’s name. The O’Neills also previously had owned a three-bedroom, 2,248-square-foot house at 2608 Strongs Drive (formerly 2607 Grand Canal) in Los Angeles’ Venice district, which they had owned for many years before selling it in early 2005 for $1,600,000, according to public records.
