Wrigleyville is named after its biggest draw, Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs. Wrigley Field is on the corner of Addison and Clark and is the heart of Wrigleyville. The area is well known for its Cub fans and night life. Many sports themed bars and pubs line Clark Street. You don’t have to be a cub fan to enjoy the neighborhood, there is plenty of non sports themed bars, live music and dance clubs as well as a wide variety of restaurants.
Wrigleyville is part of Chicago’s
Lakeview community witch is home to many
theaters such as the IO (Improve Olympic)
and Stage Left witch are both on Clark just
south of Addison. Much of Wrigleyville’s
population is under 30 and its housing is
diverse. The area has many apartment buildings,
multi-unit condominiums and gorgeous rehabbed
Victorian greystones. The vintage apartment
buildings across from Wrigley Field on Sheffield
are well know for their roof top seating
that is filled for every home game. The
CTA Red Line runs through the neighborhood
and stops at Addison less than a block from
Wrigley Field. Search
