on the north by Diversey Avenue, on
the west by Clybourn Avenue, on the
south by North Avenue, and on the
east by the public park of the same
name, the largest public park in Chicago
With more bars, restaurants and boutiques
per capita than the rest of the city,
this neighborhood is often considered
the heart of Chicago’s north
side.
West of the park, into the
neighborhoods, there are hundreds of restaurants
and bars to fit every taste and budget.
Plus, it is home to some world-class theaters
and comedy clubs. Lincoln Park is filled
with Chicago history, which can be fully
explored at the Chicago Historical Society
on Clark Street at North Avenue. Many homes
in Lincoln Park are brownstones and graystones,
a significant number of which have been
turned into condominiums. Many single family
homes that were converted into multiple-housing
buildings for students and young professionals
years ago are now being converted back to
