Lakeview is the one of the cities most livable
areas. Lake Michigan runs along its east
end, with Ravenswood to the West, Diversey
to the South and Montrose down Clark to
Irving Park on the North end.. There are
many smaller community areas in Lakeview
including Lakeshore East, West Lakeview,
Roscoe Village, Graceland West, Southeast
Ravenswood, Belmont Harbor and Wrigleyville,
home of the Chicago Cubs.
Lakeview is considered one

venues, galleries, diverse shopping, night
life and dinning in Wrigleyville, boating,
jogging, volleyball, skating, biking and
fishing along the like front. Just 4 miles
north of downtown residents here enjoy many
charming tree-lined streets. The housing
near the lake the housing consists of high-rise
one and two bedroom condos, large single-family
homes and Victorian greystones. Further
west are many rehabbed vintage apartment
and condos, two and three unit buildings,
mid-rise condo buildings and single family
homes. The area is close to transportation
with the CTA’s Red and Brown lines
running through the neighborhood and Lake
