The DePaul area is in the heart of the Lincoln Park neighborhood and is home to DePaul University, located at Kenmore and Fullerton, from witch it gets its name. The areas residents are largely students and young professionals.
The area has the theaters,
shops, restaurants, Lincoln Park, Lincoln
Park Zoo, summer festivals and bars and
night life along Lincoln Avenue. DePaul
features gorgeous tree-lined streets filled
with many restored brownstones, old Chicago
rowhouses with Victorian facades, single
family homes similar to those in Lincoln
Park and Old Town, as well as many new homes.
The area is not far from the lake and Lake
Shore Drive. The CTAs Red, Brown and Purple
Lines run through the area and stop at Fullerton
