Today’s installment of “Which celebrity’s house is this?” involves the newly built, six-bedroom house at 1824 Old Orchard Road in Los Angeles’ Brentwood neighborhood, which just sold for $5,800,000.

The reason that we believe that the buyer of this house is a celebrity is because something called the Wilder Trust was the buyer. And, the trustee whose name appears on the deed as representing the Wilder Trust, a fellow named Harley Neuman, has represented various celebrities over the years in their property transactions, including Ellen DeGeneres.

Records show that the Wilder Trust closed on the purchase in Brentwood on October 20, with the deal being recorded on October 23. The house is located on a street that extends off Mandeville Canyon Road, and is just a stone’s throw from the 5,380-square-foot Brentwood house that actor Adrian Pasdar and Dixie Chick Natalia Maines purchased in the summer of 2007 for $5,600,000, according to public records.

The Wilder Trust’s new house had been listed, it appears, for $6,995,000. Features in the house include six and a half baths, a large living room, a formal dining room, a study, a gourmet kitchen that opens to a family room, an upstairs family room, five bedroom suites, and a master suite with a private sitting room and his-and-hers walk-in closets, according to listing information. Outdoor features on the 0.32-acre (13,752-square-foot) property include a pool, a spa and a built-in barbecue, according to listing information.
