Which celebrity's house is this? House #51: the 5,065-square-foot house in Los Angeles' Brentwood neighborhood, which just hit the market for $11M
Today’s installment of “Which celebrity’s house is this?” involves the seven-bedroom, Spanish-style house in Los Angeles’ Brentwood area, which recently came on the market for $11,000,000.
The reason that we believe that this 5,065-square-foot house is owned by a celebrity is because records show that it’s owned by something called the Cliffwood Trust, which paid $3,180,000 in 2000 to buy it. The money manager whose name is on the deed is that of William Harper, who, as readers of this blog know, also has represented a variety of celebrities mostly in the music industry in their real estate purchases, including Toni Braxton, Sheena Easton, Trent Reznor, and Kris Kristofferson, and some non-musicians like Joel Grey.
Built in 1936, the house has eight baths and has been restored, upgraded and expanded, according to public records and listing information. Features include a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and an island, and a sprawling family room, according to listing information. Outdoor features on the 0.64-acre (27,835-square-foot), gated lot include trees, gardens, a newer two-story guesthouse, a second guesthouse that’s currently used as a recording studio, a pool and a spa with an automatic cover, according to public records and listing information. The house officially was listed on Halloween.
So, dear readers, we ask you as we always do: which celebrity is selling the house?
One final point: we’re still waiting for your ideas on lots of past “Which celebrity’s house is this?” items, but we’d like to especially highlight House #47 at 2705 Glendower Avenue in Los Angeles’ Los Feliz neighborhood, which we wrote about back on September 2 and which we believe a musician — represented by Harper — owned from 2000 until 2006.
