Continuing with this week's theme of "Which celebrity's house is this" posts from the "vault" (i.e., houses that are held in trust and appear to be owned by celebrities but have no apparent current activity on them), we have another brainteaser today for our readers: the 6,555-square-foot house at 620 Moreno Avenue in Los Angeles' Brentwood area. The reason why we think that this five-bedroom house is owned by a celebrity is because public records show that the owner of this house is something called the Dora Belle Trust, which purchased it on August 27, 2001 (deed recorded on September 21, 2001) for $3,575,000. The money manager whose name is on the deed, Todd Gelfand, has represented many celebrities in their real estate transactions and/or corporate structures over the years, including Steven Weber, Stephen Stills, Tracy Chapman, director Jesse Dylan, Don Johnson, Val Kilmer, David Crosby and Will Smith. Built in 2001 (apparently newly built for its buyer), the house at 620 Moreno has a pool and sits on a 0.26-acre (11,247-square-foot) lot, according to public records. The house sits inside the Brentwood Terrace subdistrict of Brentwood, which consists of just nine blocks of houses between 26th Street in Santa Monica and the Brentwood Country Club, and also between San Vicente Boulevard and Montana Avenue. Unfortunately, we don't have a good photo of the house; Google Street View is not as helpful as we'd like it to be. So, dear readers, we ask as we always do: which celebrity owns this house?
