Which celebrity's house is this? House #45: the 3,662-square-foot house at 4527 Gainsborough Avenue in Los Angeles' Los Feliz area, which was bought by its current (celebrity?) owner in August 2006 for $1.88M
Today’s installment of “Which celebrity’s house is this?” involves yet another one from “the vault” — i.e., a house that has no current activity on it (that we know of) but that we want to put before our readers because it has all the markings of being owned by a celebrity. We refer to the 3,662-square-foot house at 4527 Gainsborough Avenue in Los Angeles’ Los Feliz neighborhood. The reason that we believe that this four-bedroom house’s owner is a celebrity is because public records show that its current owner, who purchased the house on August 24, 2006 (deal recorded on September 21, 2006), did so under the name of a whimsically named trust called the Sarahs Place Trust. In addition, the money manager whose name appears on the deed is that of Matthew Lichtenberg, who has represented many celebrities over the years in their real estate buying and selling, including Will Ferrell, Fred Durst and Ron Fair. Also, the house at 4527 Gainsborough has a strong celebrity pedigree. In the summer of 1995, former “ER” actor Noah Wyle quietly purchased the house through his Max Gorodetsky Trust (sometimes shown as the Max Forodetsky Trust) for $650,000, according to public records. Wyle just as quietly sold the house in the spring of 2002 for $1,095,000, according to public records. Obviously, celebrities like to own houses that other celebs have owned in the past, which just adds to our suspicions that this house is currently celebrity-owned. Built in 1927, the house at 4527 Gainsborough Avenue has four baths and a pool, according to public records. The house also sits on a 0.19-acre (8,224-square-foot) lot, according to public records. So, dear readers, we ask as we always do: which celebrity owns this house?
