Which celebrity's house is this? House #43: the 1,227-square-foot house at 915 Fiske Road in Los Angeles' Pacific Palisades area
Today’s installment of “Which celebrity’s house is this?” is a little different than what we’ve done in the past. Usually, this feature involves a house that has recently been sold by or to a likely celebrity’s trust that we aren’t able to identify (hence us putting the house before our readers for their wise counsel), or the feature profiles a house currently on the market by a likely celebrity’s trust that we aren’t able to identify. Today, however, we’re pulling a house from the “vault,” so to speak — one that has no current activity on it that we know of, but that has been owned by a likely celebrity’s trust since 2002. Located at 915 Fiske Road in Los Angeles’ Pacific Palisades area, this small three-bedroom house (on a small lot) long has been owned by a trust with the whimsical name of Oscar We Trust. As if that showbiz-y clue weren’t tantalizing enough, the money manager whose name appears on the assessment records for this house is that of Matthew Lichtenberg, a fellow who has represented many other celebrities over the years in their real-estate dealings, including Will Ferrell, Fred Durst and Ron Fair. Records show that Oscar We Trust purchased this house on November 20, 2002 for $925,000, with the deal being recorded on December 17, 2002. Built in 1947, the one-story house at 915 Fiske has two baths and sits on a minuscule, 0.12-acre (5,202-square-foot) lot, according to public records. Although we don’t have a photo of this modest house, the good people at Google Maps (Street View) can take an easy gander at this house; it’s the fourth house north of Carey Street on Fiske. So, dear readers, we ask as we always do: which celebrity owns this house?
