Which celebrity’s house is this? House #42: the seven-bedroom house at 8581 Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills, which just came on the market for $4.995M

Today’s installment of “Which celebrity’s house is this?” involves the seven-bedroom house at 8581 Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills, which hit the market last week for $4,995,000.

The reason that we believe that this house is owned by a celebrity is because it is owned by something called the Webster Trust. And the money manager whose name appears on the deed alongside the Webster Trust is a fellow named Scott Adair. Records show that Adair has represented many other celebrities — all in the music industry — in their property ownership over the years, including Michelle Branch and Nicole Scherzinger. And, a quick look at the walls of one room in this house show plenty of gold records. According to public records, the Webster Trust has owned 8581 Hollywood Boulevard since buying it in 2004 for $3,625,000. The house came on the market on Tuesday, August 13. Built in 1991, the house sits on a private gated promontory, according to public records and listing information. Known as “Puesta del Sol,” the three-story house has five and a half baths and a grand floor plan, according to listing information. Outdoor features on the 0.28-acre (12,062-square-foot) property include a pool and spa with a waterfall, a grassy area, decks and city lights views, according to public records and listing information. The house measures either 5,924 square feet, according to public records, or 6,354 square feet, according to listing information.
