Which celebrity’s house is this? House #39: the five-bedroom, 6,205-square-foot house at 2382 Mandeville Canyon Road in Los Angeles’ Brentwood area, which appears to be under contract after having been listed for $5.995M
Today’s installment of “Which celebrity’s house is this?” involves the five-bedroom, gated Country French-style estate at 2382 Mandeville Canyon Road in Los Angeles’ Brentwood area, which appears to be under contract after having been on the market for $5,995,000.

The reason we believe that this 6,205-square-foot house currently belongs to a celebrity is because it has been owned since 2005 by something called the Spencer Trust. The money manager whose name is on the ownership deed is that of Warren Grant, who over the years has represented many celebrities in their real estate dealings, including Cher, Jesse Metcalfe and Kirsten Dunst. We’re fairly confident (but far from 100%) that the buyer behind the Spencer Trust isn’t one of those three, given that we have written about each of their current dwellings in the Los Angeles area. And Grant’s broad celebrity roster, it could be any one of many other celebrities as well. We’ve been digging a lot of late (with help from a source of ours who is quick to remind us that she lives in Beverly Hills and not in the BHPO!), but have come up empty. So now, we’re turning to our good readers. Built in 1993, the house at 2382 Mandeville Canyon has eight baths, a two-story entry and foyer, a formal dining room, a living room, a family room, three fireplaces, a spacious gourmet kitchen and eat-in area, a large master suite with two bathrooms, a separate office/library and outdoor entertaining areas on the 0.72-acre lot, according to public records and listing information. Outdoor features include a pool, a spa and a large grassy yard, according to listing information. The house most recently has been tagged as “looking for backup” in the Los Angeles County MLS, which suggests to us that a deal is imminent. However, in this market, we’ll believe a deal when we see it. Records show that the Spencer Trust paid $5,790,000 for the house. Check out online listing sheets for the house at 2382 Mandeville Canyon – complete with photos – here and here. A cached, older listing sheet for the house is here. And, go on a virtual tour. So, dear readers, we ask you as always: which celebrity’s house is this?
