Which celebrity’s house is this? House #36: the 2,320-square-foot house at 446 N. Citrus in Los Angeles’ Hancock Park area, which sold in April for $1.835M
Today’s installment of “Which celebrity’s house is this?” involves the 2,320-square-foot house at 446 N. Citrus Avenue in Los Angeles’ Hancock Park neighborhood, which sold in April for $1,835,000.
The reason we believe that the buyer is a celebrity is because the trust that purchased the house is whimsically named the Scott Rod Trust. And, the money manager on the trust is uber-manager Barry Greenfield, who has represented many different big-name celebrities over the years. Built in 1928, the four-bedroom Mediterranean-style hacienda has three baths (two full, and one three-quarters bath) and sits on a tiny, 0.15-acre lot, according to public records. The house also has wrought iron gates, period-style tile work, a courtyard entry with a fountain, and a step-down living room with a vaulted ceiling, according to 2005 listing information for the house (admittedly, the seller, who is a talent agent who is not a celebrity, may have changed some of these details since buying the house for $1,508,000 in 2005). The Scott Rod Trust closed on the house on April 30, with the deal being recorded on May 23. So, dear readers, we ask you: which celebrity was the buyer of this house?
