Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who co-hosts the ABC talk show "The View," and her football player husband Tim have paid $3,250,000 for a condominium unit on Manhattan's Upper West Side.  The New York Observer's Max Abelson broke the story late Friday of Hasselbeck's purchase of the four-bedroom, 2,349-square-foot unit in the Ariel West building, which is at 245 W. 99th Street (at Broadway) on the Upper West Side. Indeed, records show that the former "Survivor" contestant and her husband Tim, who is a quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals, went to contract to buy the unit on February 8. The deal closed on April 29, and was recorded late on Friday afternoon. Records show that while the purchase price was $3,250,000, the "full sale price" (the total amount including personal property) was $3,309,312. We don't have access to a ton of features in the new unit, but we can tell you that it has three baths, a wall of windows, and a 30-foot living/dining room, according to listing information. The Hasselbecks continued to own another Upper West Side unit that they purchased in March 2005 for $999,000 ($1,017,232 was the "full sale price"). One can assume that they will eventually place that 1,234-square-foot unit, which is at 172 W. 79th Street, on the market. Stay tuned.
