Tennis star Mats Wilander lists his estate near Sun Valley, ID for $8.5M

Tennis star Mats Wilander has placed his estate near Sun Valley, Idaho on the market for $8,500,000.

The Wall Street Journal’s “Private Properties” column today breaks the story of Wilander and his wife Sonya’s listing of their approximately 81-acre property, which has a 10,532-square-foot main house that was built in 1999. The Wilanders made the property, dubbed Cove Meadow, their main residence once the house was completed, the Journal reported.

Features in Wilander’s contemporary-style house include a large exercise room and a soundproofed music room, according to the Journal’s report. Features on the property include a guest house, a caretaker’s residence, a lap pool and a hot tub, according to the Journal.

The property appears to have the address of 104 Cove Creek Road in Hailey, Idaho.

It’s unclear yet where Wilander, 43, is headed. We should note that Wilander has owned other properties over the years, including the following:

–An 8,311-square-foot mansion on 4.34 acres at 18 Richmond Hill Road in Greenwich, Conn., which he sold in 2000 for $2,300,000, according to public records (Wilander had purchased that property in 1987 for $800,000, according to public records;

–A condominium unit in the Brooks Van Horn building at 117 W. 17th Street in New York City’s Chelsea area, which he sold in 1997 for $770,000, according to public records;

–A condo unit at 311 Offerson Road in Beaver Creek, Col., which he sold in May 2002 for $485,000, according to public records.

i think these are all things in use in his life and we could not have concern in his these all things.
