Supermodel Oluchi pays just over $1.7M for a two-bedroom condo unit in NYC

Supermodel Oluchi Onweagba, who also just goes by Oluchi, has paid $1,708,500 for a two-bedroom condo unit on Manhattan3/3/2008’s Upper West Side.

The New York Observer’s Max Abelson broke the story today of Oluchi’s new apartment in the building at 10 West End Avenue, which is near Lincoln Center. Indeed, public records confirm Abelson’s report that she paid that amount for the two-bedroom condo, although a separate real property transfer report that is part of the public record of the purchase states that the purchase price actually was $1,739,680.

The unit won’t be Oluchi’s main residence, however. In an interview, Oluchi confirmed for Abelson that her residence is a penthouse at 235 East 22nd Street in Manhattan’s Gramercy Park area that her husband purchased in February 2007 for $3.345 million and that she’ll rent out the West End Avenue condo.

Abelson’s report also helpfully provides a roster of other supermodels’ dwellings around Manhattan.
