Supermodel and actress Kylie Bax is asking $1,599,000 for her three-bedroom, Mediterranean-style house in Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills -- which she purchased in early 2004 from singer Michelle Branch's Nelly Carroll Trust for $1,250,000.

Continuing on in our push this week to catch up on some items that others have reported on but not us, we'd like to report on Bax's listing of the 2,530-square-foot house in the Hollywood Hills. Our friends over at the Real Estalker wrote about Bax's place back in October, when it was listed for an even higher $1,749,900. We'll add to the conversation about the house by noting its celebrity provenance in the form of Branch's past ownership of it (see here for our November 7 report on Branch's current real-estate doings).

Built in 1933, Bax's house has four baths, celebrity height fencing for privacy, a surveillance camera at the front gate, an attached two-car garage, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, tumbled marble baths and a kitchen with a center island and a nook, according to listing information. Other features include a living room, an upstairs bonus/media room, and a large master suite with a walk-in closet, a large bath with a shower/spa tub and a large deck, according to listing information. The house sits on a minuscule, 0.09-acre lot, according to public records.

Records show that Branch had paid $820,000 for the house in September 2002. Listing information states that the house was completely remodeled in 2002; however, it's 100 percent likely that the remodeler was not Branch, but rather, the individual who sold the house to Branch, given that he had paid just $520,000 for the house the year before.
