Two-time Daytime Emmy Award-winning actress Michelle Stafford has paid $2,525,000 for a 4,533-square-foot, Spanish-style house in the Oaks area of Los Angeles’ Los Feliz neighborhood.

 

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report that Stafford, has purchased the four-bedroom house in the Oaks on April 27.

 

Built in 1933, Stafford’s new house had been listed last year for $2,695,000 and later was reduced to $2,599,000. Features in the house include five baths, a library/study, and an open patio, according to listing information. The house’s previous owners only had purchased the house in 2005, for $2,400,000.

Stafford, who long has appeared on the soap opera “The Young and the Restless” as the oft-married, scheming Phyllis Newman, owns other property in the Oaks. She paid $1,325,000 in late 2004 to purchase a two-bedroom, Spanish villa-style house at in the Oaks, which she recently has tried to rent out at $6,200 a month. Stafford also paid $225,500 in 1998 for a tiny, 858-square-foot house at in Los Angeles’ Hancock Park neighborhood that records show that she continues to own to this day.
