Singer/songwriter/actor Jesse McCartney lists his two-bedroom house in Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills area for $1.199M
Singer/songwriter/actor Jesse McCartney has placed his two-bedroom, 1,600-square-foot house in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills area on the market for $1,199,000.
This is another in a long, long line of items that we want to catch up on (expect to see a steady stream of these items over the next few days, along with some of our site’s usual exclusives mixed in!). Kudos go to our friends over at the Real Estalker for breaking the story on May 27 of the 22-year-old McCartney’s listing of his cozy Hollywood Hills pad. Records show that McCartney (shown here with Aubrey O’Day) paid $1,076,000 in May 2007 through his Big Man Trust to purchase the house.
Built in 1965, McCartney’s house has two and a half baths, an open floor plan, and lots of windows, according to public records and listing information. Outdoor features on the dinky, 0.11-acre (4,779-square-foot) property include a custom spa with a waterfall, a fire pit, and canyon views, according to public records and listing information.
We have no idea where McCartney is off to. We would note, however, that our friends over at the Real Estalker also noted back in March that McCartney was trying to lease out his place for $4,900 a month. And, we’d bet that he’s probably looking to 1) stay in L.A.; and 2) find something a bit more private. Stay tuned.

The Citrus house is for her parent and her brother Todd and Jennifer live in the Gardner house. She is being a good daughter and sharing the wealth with the family.

What’s wrong with having a big house if you can afford it? Just because you live by yourself or with one other person instead of six doesn’t mean you should be in a smaller place; that doesn’t make any sense. People, by nature, need space.

Actually it wasn’t just two people. Nikki had three kids from a previous marriage who visited often and she had her son who lived with her, plus their had a child together. So they needed more than enough room.
