Singer Toni Braxton sells 5,487-square-foot house in Los Angeles’ Tarzana area for $2.2M and also pays $2.6M for a 5,337-square-foot house outside Las Vegas

Singer Toni Braxton, who is headlining her “Toni Braxton: Revealed” show in Las Vegas, and her musician husband Keirston “Keri” Lewis have sold their 5,487-square-foot house in Los Angeles’ Tarzana area for $2,200,000 and also have paid $2,600,000 for a 5,337-square-foot house in Henderson, Nev., just outside Las Vegas.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on Braxton’s two transactions, both of which she has made in recent months through her DKB Luis Trust.

Built in 2000, Braxton’s former house in Tarzana, at 3705 Marfield Avenue, has five bedrooms, seven baths and a pool, all on a 0.4-acre lot. The house had been listed for $2,395,000. Braxton purchased the house in Tarzana in 2002 for $1,425,000, according to public records. Unfortunately, no online listing information is available, so we don’t have a photo of Braxton’s former Tarzana home.

Braxton, 39, sold the house in Tarzana on Dec. 21, but the sale wasn’t recorded until Jan. 18.

More recently, Braxton’s DKB Luis Trust on May 7 paid $2,600,000 for her five-bedroom house at 1274 Imperia Drive in the Seven Hills area of Henderson, Nev., according to public records. Built in 2002, the two-story house has four and a baths, four fireplaces, a pool, a spa, and a three-car garage, all on a 0.37-acre lot, according to public records and listing information. The house’s size, however, is in question. Public records state that it has 5,337 square feet, while listing information states that the house measures 5,685 square feet.

When Braxton first moved to Las Vegas, it was widely and incorrectly reported that she had bought a house in the exclusive Southern Highlands Golf Club in Las Vegas. However, we did a bit more digging, and found a news article to corroborate our belief that Braxton merely had been renting in the Southern Highlands development. The house in Henderson is the first piece of real estate she has owned since moving to Las Vegas.

Braxton has owned many other properties over the years, as the list below reveals:

–She paid $720,700 in 1994 for a 10-room, 5,494-square-foot house at 604 Dalmore Drive in Duluth, Ga., which she sold in 1997.

–She paid $725,000 in 1996 for a 2,306-square-foot condo unit at 10120 Empyrean Way in Los Angeles, which she continues to own to this day through her Demi Kennedy Trust.

–She paid $1,325,000 in 1999 for a six-bedroom, 6,414-square-foot house on 2.3 acres at 6545 Old Riverside Drive NW in Atlanta, which she sold in 2003 for $1,400,000.

–She paid $370,000 in 2000 for a newly built, 3,376-square-foot house at 1715 Ridge Oak Place in Alpharetta, Ga., which she continues to own to this day.

–She and Lewis paid $540,500 in late 2000 for a 10-room, 1,858-square-foot town house at 17557 Bearpath Trail in Eden Prairie, Minn., which they sold in 2002 for $615,000.
