Singer Michelle Branch lists her four-bedroom house in Nashville for $1.285M — less than a year after purchasing it for $1.35M!
Singer Michelle Branch has placed her four-bedroom house in the Belle Meade area of Nashville on the market for $1,285,000 — less than a year after she purchased it for $1,350,000.
Our friends over at the Real Estalker broke the story the other day of Branch’s surprise listing of her house in Nashville. Indeed, the house appears to have hit the market a couple of days ago.
Built in 2003, Branch’s cottage-style house — which is just a short distance down the road from the Belle Meade home of former Vice President Al Gore — has four and a half baths and an all-Viking kitchen, according to listing information. The house measures either 3,200 square feet, according to public records, or 3,706 square feet, according to listing information. The house sits on a 0.43-acre (18,731-square-foot) lot, according to public records.
Records show that Branch’s Sunshine Trust purchased the house on January 9, with the deal being recorded on January 10. Back on June 10, we wrote about her purchase — and about some of her other properties over the years. Following up on similar remarks made by the Real Estalker, the only other property that we’re certain that Branch still owns is her 1,360-square-foot condominium unit in Nashville, which she purchased in mid-2006 for $290,000, according to public records.
It’s totally unclear to us where Branch is going, although southern California would seem to be a safe bet. As always, we’ll keep you posted.

The Citrus house is for her parent and her brother Todd and Jennifer live in the Gardner house. She is being a good daughter and sharing the wealth with the family.

What’s wrong with having a big house if you can afford it? Just because you live by yourself or with one other person instead of six doesn’t mean you should be in a smaller place; that doesn’t make any sense. People, by nature, need space.

Actually it wasn’t just two people. Nikki had three kids from a previous marriage who visited often and she had her son who lived with her, plus their had a child together. So they needed more than enough room.
