Public records finally have cleared on the sale of legendary manager and producer's newly built, 7,500-square-foot house in Beverly Hills, Calif., which he sold in April to movie producer Roger Birnbaum, and they reveal that Gallin sold the house to Birnbaum for $16,500,000, and not the $20,000,000 figure that had been reported in the Los Angeles Times. In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the amount that Gallin fetched for the house. We wrote on June 5 about the sale, shortly after the Los Angeles Times' Ruth Ryon had written about it. Gallin had purchased the site, at 1031 Summit Drive in Beverly Hills, back in 2005 for $5,350,000 and proceeded to build a 7,500-square-foot house on the property. Gallin sold the house to Birnbaum before it was ever on the market, and the house was reported by Ryon to have been the 40th house in Beverly Hills that Gallin had either refurbished or built.
