Romance novelist Leigh Court and her rock ‘n’ roll tour director-producer husband Timm Woolley re-list their house and 11.65-acre estate in Malibu, CA for $2.799M

Romance novelist Leigh Court and her husband, rock ‘n’ roll tour director-producer Timm Woolley, have re-listed their house and 11.9-acre estate in Malibu, Calif. for $2,799,000.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the couple’s re-listing of their property in Malibu. Back in December 2007, the Los Angeles Times’ Ruth Ryon reported on the couple’s listing of the property. Ryon reported at that time that the couple had planned to relocate to Orlando, Fla. for family reasons. Records do show that the couple paid $1,291,700 in early 2006 to purchase a 3,536-square-foot, newly built second home in The Villages, Fla., an area that is about 45 miles northwest of Orlando.

Now, the Malibu property is back on the market for $2,799,000, having been re-listed on January 8. Built in 1978, the 3,553-square-foot main house has three and a half baths, a media room, a family room that could function as a second master suite, an “entertainer’s kitchen” with top-of-the-line appliances, sweeping ocean and mountain views, a gated center courtyard with a water feature, and wraparound decks on the upper level with views from the Palos Verdes Peninsula to the Channel Islands, according to public records, listing information and previous news accounts. The house sits on a 11.65-acre, principal parcel, although we should note that the couple also own a separate, 0.25-acre (10,890-square-foot) parcel directly across the street. If one puts the two parcels together — including the street — it would create a rectangular piece of property.

Records show that the couple purchased the property in early 2001 for $1,012,500.

The house is just four-tenths of a mile down the street from a home owned by Dexter King, which we wrote about in April 2007.
