Rocker Slash (finally) sells his controversial mansion in Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills for an undisclosed price after it had been listed for just under $6M

Rock ‘n’ roll guitarist Slash has finally sold his five-bedroom, Spanish-style mansion in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills for an undisclosed amount after it had been listed for just under $6 million.

And the move is merely the latest transaction in Slash and his (estranged/soon-to-be-ex-) wife Perla’s reshaping of their real-estate portfolio, which we’ll discuss below.

First, in a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report that Slash just sold his 5,539-square-foot house at 1924 Wattles Drive in the Hollywood Hills. The deal closed on December 6 and was recorded last week, on December 18, according to public records.

The buyer of Slash’s house appears to be San Diego Padres relief pitcher (and San Fernando Valley native) Randy Wolf.

We first wrote about Slash’s house back on June 5, after our friends over at the Real Estalker had broken the story of the house being on the market. And, our pal Your Mama at the Real Estalker provided a fine update on the house last month, after the house’s status in the Los Angeles County multiple listing service had shifted to “looking for backup” (which usually indicates that a deal is imminent). We should note that Slash originally had the house on the market early this year for $6,995,000 and he later slashed (pardon the pun) the asking price by about $1 million. We should also note that TMZ last month broke the story of Slash having sued his listing agent for $1 million-plus for allegedly having misrepresented some facts about the property.

These aren’t the only real-estate moves that Slash and Perla have made lately. in June, the couple together paid $560,000 to buy a 964-square-foot loft unit in West Los Angeles, according to public records. And in late September, the pair finally sold their six-bedroom, 5,980-square-foot house at 14246 Valley Vista Boulevard in the Sherman Oaks area of Los Angeles, which they had owned since buying it in 2002 for $2,150,000. Records show that they also sold that house for an undisclosed price (which we’ll provide for you in a few weeks) after it had been on the market for $3,995,000.

And as always, we’ll let you know what Slash’s Hollywood Hills sale price was when that information becomes available in a few weeks. We’ll also keep you posted on where Slash winds up.

SongWrite You know a great song when you hear one, so why can it seem so hard to write one? How is it that some songwriters can crank out classic hit after hit, while others struggle to write one single decent song?

What’s wrong with having a big house if you can afford it? Just because you live by yourself or with one other person instead of six doesn’t mean you should be in a smaller place; that doesn’t make any sense. People, by nature, need space.

Actually it wasn’t just two people. Nikki had three kids from a previous marriage who visited often and she had her son who lived with her, plus their had a child together. So they needed more than enough room.

Plus “they” had a child together. Forgive my spelling error
