Rocker Pete Wentz lists his house in Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills for $1.799M
Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz has placed his two-bedroom house in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills on the market for $1,799,000. 
Our friends over at the Real Estalker broke the story earlier today of Wentz’s listing of his 2,062-square-foot house, which is at 7435 Palo Vista Drive in the Hills. It’s always a pleasure to write about Wentz, since we were the first to report details (financial and otherwise) of Wentz’s purchase of the Palo Vista Drive house, back in our post on April 3, 2007. Then, on April 22, 2007, MTV’s ‘Cribs’ aired a segment on the house, as we reported some weeks later. Our April 3, 2007 post on Wentz easily is our most commented-on blog post in the short history of our little blog, all due to Wentz’s legions of fans. 
Indeed, records show that Wentz purchased the house on Palo Vista Drive on May 4, 2006 for $1,625,000 (deal recorded on June 6, 2006 — yes, 06/06/06). Last week, on July 24, 2008, Wentz quietly placed the house on the market. Built in 1961, the house has three baths, 180-degree views from the San Fernando Valley to the Hollywood sign, an open and bright floor plan, an office, a pool, a spa and an outdoor BBQ entertaining area, according to public records and listing information. The house sits on a 0.21-acre (9,069-square-foot) lot, according to public records. Check out an online listing sheet — complete with photos — for Wentz’s house. As Your Mama over at the Real Estalker noted, Wentz probably has placed the house on the market because he’s moved into wife Ashlee Simpson’s 5,896-square-foot house at 9718 Oak Pass Road in Beverly Hills, which she purchased in January 2007 through her 9718 Oak Pass Trust for $4,500,000, according to public records. No one knows for sure why he listed the property (other than Wentz, Simpson, their families, their money managers, and a handful of fans who may stake out Wentz’s every move), but a move to the obviously much larger Oak Pass Road house is a good guess.

The Citrus house is for her parent and her brother Todd and Jennifer live in the Gardner house. She is being a good daughter and sharing the wealth with the family.

What’s wrong with having a big house if you can afford it? Just because you live by yourself or with one other person instead of six doesn’t mean you should be in a smaller place; that doesn’t make any sense. People, by nature, need space.

Actually it wasn’t just two people. Nikki had three kids from a previous marriage who visited often and she had her son who lived with her, plus their had a child together. So they needed more than enough room.
