Rocker Donovan Leitch Jr., who is in the band Camp Freddy and who is the son of the '60s rocker Donovan, has sold his 1,166-square-foot, Spanish-style compound in Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills for $1,050,000.
In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the sale by the younger Donovan, who is the brother of actress Ione Skye (with whom he is pictured here). The deal closed on November 2 and was recorded on November 21. Leitch sold the compound, at 2048 Stanley Hills Place in the Hollywood Hills, because, as we previously had exclusively reported on October 19, he paid $1,435,000 on August 22 for a 2,068-square-foot house in Los Angeles' Studio City area.
Now, we can report on the sale of his compound, which Leitch had listed for $1,099,000. Built in 1929, the compound has a two-bedroom, 1.75-bath main house, a guest apartment, a separate studio, hardwood floors, stained glass windows, French doors, terraced gardens, a courtyard, and a flat grassy yard with room for a pool, all on a 0.14-acre property, according to public records and listing information. Leitch and his wife, Kirsty Hume, had paid $787,000 for the compound in 2003, according to public records.
If the street name of Leitch's former compound sounds familiar, that may be because the compound is just down the street from the house that Jack Osbourne had purchased for $1,640,000 through a trust in 2005, according to public records.

As we noted in our post on October 19, Leitch and Hume also own a five-bedroom, 2,281-square-foot house on 5.78 acres in Woodstock, N.Y. that they purchased for $820,000 in 2006, according to public records.
