Rocker, actor and activist Henry Rollins lists his house in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills for $1.15M
Rocker, actor and activist Henry Rollins appears to be close to a deal to sell his 2,100-square-foot house in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills, which he has listed for $1,150,000.
In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the 48-year-old former Black Flag frontman’s listing of the three-bedroom, traditional-style house, which is in Nichols Canyon. As of last Thursday, the house was shown as “looking for backup,” meaning a deal may be imminent. The house first came on the market at the start of this month.
Built in 1947, Rollins’ house has two full baths, a three-quarter bath, an open floor plan, and lots of windows, and sits on a 0.39-acre (17,019-square-foot) lot, according to public records and listing information. Records show that Rollins purchased the house in 1999 for $740,000.
We have no idea why Rollins is selling this house. We’ll keep you posted as we learn more.

cheap-ass house! He only paid $740,000 for it and is selling it for $1.1 million? cheap
It’s a great house and some of the rooms really need to be reworked, but ugh…That bathroom is a deal breaker. I feel like I’m choking just looking at it. It’s sufforcating.

Purchased in 1999 but keeps that 1974 fresh feeling alive. Rollins has indeed left the building and the aftermath staging is pure shit. This house has potential for the right buyer to spruce up and resell at a higher value even if the walls can’t talk.
