Rocker Aaron Kamin lists a three-bedroom house he owns in Los Angeles' Studio City area for $1,199,999
Rocker Aaron Kamin of the band The Calling has placed a three-bedroom house he owns in Los Angeles’ Studio City neighborhood on the market for $1,199,999. 
The Los Angeles Times’ Ann Brenoff on Sunday will break the story of Kamin’s listing of the 2,250-square-foot house at 3330 Wrightwood Drive in Studio City. 
A San Fernando Valley native, Kamin had paid $825,000 for the Wrightwood Drive house in March 2005, according to public records. Built in 1962, the two-story house has three baths and hardwood floors and sits on a minuscule, 0.16-acre lot, according to public records and listing information. We almost never mention listing agents on this blog (let’s face it–you’re not reading this blog to read about obscure L.A. Realtors, and we don’t write this blog in order to give agents free advertising!), but in this case we can’t help ourselves. One of the house’s two listing agents is Zimbabwe-born, Sherman Oaks-based Burt Bakman, who easily is one of our favorite Los Angeles-area listing agents. It’s not surprising that Bakman, who also was the listing agent for comedian Jamie Kennedy’s house last year, got this listing, since in a past life, he arranged press conferences and world tours for recording artists like Paul McCartney, Julio Iglesias, Fleetwood Mac, Barbra Streisand, Madonna, Bette Midler, Britney Spears, and Bob Dylan (and no, Burt didn’t pay us to include this!). Kamin owns (at least) one other house in the L.A. area: a gated, Spanish-style house at 1474 N. Kings Road in the Hollywood Hills that he listed for sale last year for $2,300,000 or for rent at $11,000 a month. That 1,960-square-foot house, which Kamin had purchased in 2003 for $985,000, is literally across the street from Paris Hilton’s old house. Kamin also owns a 1,320-square-foot place in Daytona Beach, Fla., according to public records. Check out an online listing sheet for Kamin’s Studio City house — complete with photos — here.

The Citrus house is for her parent and her brother Todd and Jennifer live in the Gardner house. She is being a good daughter and sharing the wealth with the family.

What’s wrong with having a big house if you can afford it? Just because you live by yourself or with one other person instead of six doesn’t mean you should be in a smaller place; that doesn’t make any sense. People, by nature, need space.

Actually it wasn’t just two people. Nikki had three kids from a previous marriage who visited often and she had her son who lived with her, plus their had a child together. So they needed more than enough room.
