Rapper Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas has paid $2,200,000 for a six-bedroom house in Los Angeles County’s Altadena area.
In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the purchase by Taboo, which admittedly occurred a number of months back. Taboo bought the Mediterranean-style house in Altadena on March 29 of last year, but the deal wasn’t recorded until May 15.
Built in 2005 and designed by Franco Noravian, the house had been listed for $2,245,000. Features in the 4,556-square-foot house include six baths, hardwood floors, crown moldings, high ceilings, dual-paned wood windows and French doors throughout, four fireplaces, a two-story entry, a living room with a box-beam ceiling, a formal dining room with a fireplace and wainscoting, a wood-paneled library, a two-story family room that opens to a patio and gardens, and a master suite with a terrace, a spa tub, dual sinks, two walk-in closets, a fireplace and an office, according to listing information. Outside is a four-car garage on a 0.45-acre lot, according to public records and listing information.
We have of course written many times, most recently on July 7, about the 8,232-square-foot house in Los Angeles’ Brentwood neighborhood that Taboo’s bandmate Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson and her beau, actor Josh Duhamel, purchased last year.

The Citrus house is for her parent and her brother Todd and Jennifer live in the Gardner house. She is being a good daughter and sharing the wealth with the family.

What’s wrong with having a big house if you can afford it? Just because you live by yourself or with one other person instead of six doesn’t mean you should be in a smaller place; that doesn’t make any sense. People, by nature, need space.

Actually it wasn’t just two people. Nikki had three kids from a previous marriage who visited often and she had her son who lived with her, plus their had a child together. So they needed more than enough room.
