Radio and TV talk show host Larry Elder lists his four-bedroom house in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills area for $4.175M

Libertarian radio and TV talk show host Larry Elder has placed his four-bedroom, 4,690-square-foot house in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills area on the market for $4,175,000.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on Elder’s listing of his house, which hit the market on Wednesday.

We have been away from the blog for a few days for a variety of reasons, and we apologize to our dear readers for that; the reasons were that 1) we had serious computer problems; and 2) we also were busy with other writing projects.

Back to Larry Elder. Built in 1959, Elder’s house is being listed fully furnished, and has five baths, according to public records and listing information. Outdoor features on the 1.61-acre (70,148-square-foot), gated property include a gazebo area, an infinity pool, a spa, jetliner views, parking for 20 cars, and a separate one-bedroom guest house (which currently is used as an office) that also has one bath and a loft, according to public records and listing information.

Elder, 56, purchased the house in 2000 for $1,650,000, according to public records. The Los Angeles Times’ Ruth Ryon wrote about Elder’s purchase of this house many months after his purchase, back in March 2001.

We have not a clue where Elder is off to. However, we will keep you posted as we learn more — both on if his house sells (and if so, for how much) and also on where he ends up. Stay tuned.
