Public records have cleared on the amount that comedian Jamie Kennedy paid for his new 2,342-square-foot house in Los Angeles' Los Feliz area, and they reveal that the funnyman paid $2,150,000 for the house, which had been on the market for $2,275,000.

Back on August 14, we wrote about Kennedy buying his new house at 2508 N. Vermont Avenue on on July 9. Kennedy's purchase of his new house occurred around the same time that he had sold his longtime house at 1537 N. Fairfax Avenue on Los Angeles' Sunset Strip for $1,300,000.

Built in 1958, Kennedy's new house was purchased through his Most Wanted Trust. Features in the house include three bedrooms, two and a half baths and a pool, all on a gated 0.18-acre parcel, according to public records and listing information. Other features include a sliding glass partition that separates the living area from the family or media room, a hot tub, fire pits, a koi tank and private gardens, according to listing information.

We must give the maddest props of all to our commenter Burt Bakman, who on August 27 correctly registered a comment on our August 14 item with Kennedy's exact purchase price. Burt also noted that a separate deal was made for all the furniture inside the house, as well as for the electronics.
