Philanthropist Steven M. Hilton — yes, Paris' uncle — lists a 3,796-square-foot house he owns in Malibu, CA for $2.96M
Philanthropist Steven M. Hilton — a scion of the notorious Hilton family and the uncle of Paris and Nicky Hilton — has placed a 3,796-square-foot house he owns in Malibu, Calif.’s Ramirez Canyon area on the market for $2,960,000.
In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on Steven Hilton’s listing of the four-bedroom, contemporary-style house, which sits on 2.12 acres near Paradise Cove in Malibu. The house hit the market on Saturday, May 2.
Hilton, 58, is the grandson of Conrad Hilton and is the president and CEO of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation.
Built in 2000 and designed by architect Kevin Cozen, the house that Steven Hilton is selling has five and a half baths, walls of glass, soaring ceilings, two master bedrooms with creekside views, a gourmet cook’s kitchen, a home theater, and a gym, according to public records and listing information. Outdoor features on the gated property, which is located on a private, gated street, include ancient oaks, a pool and spa with a waterfall, an outdoor sound system, large decks and patios, and rose and vegetable gardens, according to public records and listing information.
Hilton purchased this property in 2002 for $1,625,000, according to public records.
Hilton owns another house in Malibu. Records show that he paid $7,100,000 in 2007 to purchase a 2,841-square-foot house on Malibu Cove Colony Drive.
Hilton’s house was the victim of an attempted robbery in this house in December. The foundation’s spokeswoman told Reuters at the time that “it would sound like somebody had to know it was his house to go there. You wouldn’t just stumble on it.”
