Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne pay at least $10 million, we believe, for a mansion in Hidden Hills, Calif., and sell their mansion in Beverly Hills, Calif. to Christina Aguilera and her husband Jordan Bratman for an undisclosed price

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have purchased a 10,953-square-foot mansion in Hidden Hills, Calif. for what we would assume to be well north of $10 million, and the celebrity couple also has closed on the sale of their mansion in Beverly Hills, Calif.—where their MTV reality series was filmed—to singer Christina Aguilera and her husband Jordan Bratman for an undisclosed price. The Beverly Hills mansion had been listed for $11,995,000.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on both sales. We can exclusively report on the Hidden Hills purchase, which closed on July 25 (and was recorded on August 2), while reports of the sale of the Osbournes’ well-known mansion at 513 Doheny Road in Beverly Hills to Aguilera first appeared in late June in several publications (the Sun in England, Us Weekly), but no report confirmed the transaction as being definite (Us, in fact, reported only that Aguilera and Bratman had made Ozzy and Sharon an offer). We now can report that public records show that Aguilera and Bratman purchased the Beverly Hills mansion through their Brat Pack Family Trust. The deal closed on May 22 but wasn’t recorded on August 2, according to public records.

In Hidden Hills, the Osbournes’ new mansion, at 5535 Dixon Trail Road, was purchased through the couple’s Minnie Trust, according to public records. Built in 2001, the six-bedroom mansion has 10 baths and a pool and sits on a 2.349-acre parcel, according to public records. We have not yet found evidence that the property had been listed in the multiple listing service, although we’re certainly open to any link to the house (and photos) that our readers may have. And while the purchase price is not yet available in public records, we would be surprised if the Osbournes bought the property for anything less than $10 million, particularly given that the couple took out a mortgage for $8,550,000 for the property, according to public records. We’ll obviously publish a purchase price here as soon as it becomes available in public records.

Hidden Hills is of course a popular celebrity enclave, as recent posts that we’ve written about various celebrities demonstrate. Actress Denise Richards is selling her mansion there at 23703 Long Valley Road (she recently reduced it from $4,495,000 to $4,100,000), and the mansion once owned by Howie Mandel at 24710 Robert Guy Road also is for sale, for $5,495,000. In addition, earlier this year, actor Matt LeBlanc had listed his mansion at 5580 Bill Cody Road, as did actor Brad Garrett, who had listed his mansion at 25170 Jim Bridger Road. Neither of those properties appears to be officially on the market at present, and neither one has yet sold, according to the public records databases to which we have access.

Clearly, Hidden Hills is a popular place for celebs. The Osbournes’ new mansion is located about a block south of LeBlanc’s massive home, and about a block north of Garrett’s mansion.

As for the Osbournes’ well-chronicled, 11,571-square-foot mansion in Beverly Hills that they sold, there isn’t much more to say about the property that hasn’t already been said. The couple bought the house, at 513 Doheny Road, in 1999, and filmed their reality series mostly inside the house from 2002 to 2005. They subsequently listed the Beverly Hills mansion in May 2005 for $11.9 million, stating a desire for more land. The Osbournes’ Malibu beach house, which we wrote about on March 14, remains on the market at $10,995,000, although the most recent activity indicates that the sellers are “looking for backup,” so a deal may be imminent.

There’s no word yet on what Aguilera plans to do with her 5,411-square-foot residence at 1443 Devlin Drive in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills. Aguilera’s Keena One Trust purchased that house for exactly $5 million in 2003, according to public records. We’ll keep you posted on what ultimately happens to that property.
