Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban go to contract to sell their Nashville house, which had been on the market for $2.45M
Actress Nicole Kidman and her country singer husband Keith Urban have gone to contract to sell their four-bedroom house in Nashville, which had been listed for $2,450,000.
The Wall Street Journal’s “Private Properties” column today broke the story (link not available online) of the couple going to contract to sell their house at 15 Bancroft Place in Nashville. Urban had purchased the house in the name of a money manager, Mary Ann McCready, back in April 2005 — prior to his marrying Kidman — for $1,720,967, according to public records.
Built in 2004, the house sits on a 2.03-acre lot, according to public records, although listing information states that the house sits on a 2.49-acre parcel. Public records state that the house measures 8,715 square feet, while listing information claims that the house contains 7,047 square feet. Features in the house include four bedrooms, five and a half baths, public areas opening to a covered terrace, a pool, a spa, and a three-car garage, according to listing information.
We hadn’t written before today about the listing, but many others have, including our friends over at the Real Estalker, who wrote about the house back in September, the Tennessean newspaper, which wrote in September about the listing, and even E! Online, which wrote in September that the couple has bought a farm near Nashville. We can’t confirm chatter that the couple has bought land at 1152 Crater Hill Drive in Nashville; that land is owned by a trust that has owned it since 2004.
