Nationally syndicated radio host Tom Joyner and his fitness-guru wife Donna Richardson Joyner sell their Beverly Hills, CA home for its $5.6M asking price

Nationally syndicated radio host Tom Joyner and his fitness-guru wife Donna Richardson Joyner have sold their house in Beverly Hills, Calif. for its $5,600,000 asking price.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the sale by the Joyners of the four-bedroom, 3,811-square-foot house at 1500 Loma Vista Drive in Beverly Hills’ Trousdale Estates area. We broke the story back on August 16 of them having listed the house for the $5,600,000 amount.

Records show that the house was sold on August 30 and that the sale was recorded on October 17. The buyer is not a celebrity.

The Joyners didn’t own the house long. They had purchased it for $5,475,000 in July 2006 from developer Josh Touber, who had remodeled the property, according to public records.

Built in 1959, Joyner’s former house is a “smart home,” according to listing information, with state-of-the-art sound, security and lighting systems, as well as disappearing walls of glass. Other features in the gated home include three and a half baths, an open floor plan, Patara limestone flooring imported from Turkey, African mahogany veneer custom doors and cabinetry, soapstone, silestone and Lago blue Caesarstone finishes, a media room and a wine cellar, according to listing information. The 0.53-acre property has a fire pit, a pool, a spa, a waterfall, and jetliner views of city lights and the ocean, according to listing information and public records.

The Joyners first had placed the house on the market some months back for $6,100,000.
