Musician, songwriter and producer Dr. Luke has paid $4,690,000 for a 4,036-square-foot Spanish-style house in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills area.  In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the purchase of the home on Hollywood Boulevard in the Hollywood Hills by Dr. Luke, who played guitar in the Saturday Night Live band for 10 seasons through 2007. He also has produced music for many artists, including Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone,” Avril Lavigne’s “Keep Holding On” (one of our faves), and Vanessa Hudgens’ “Don’t Ask Why.” Records show that Dr. Luke, better known as Lukasz Gottwald, purchased the four-bedroom house on Hollywood Boulevard on January 23. The deal was recorded on March 26. Built in 1931, Dr. Luke’s new house has city-to-ocean views and was meticulously restored, according to listing information. Features include four baths, rich dark woods throughout, a gourmet cook’s kitchen with imported cabinetry by Clive Christian, a large master bedroom suite, a media room, an office, a game room, an infinity pool, a spa, a huge terrace and an outside cabana, according to listing information. The house sits on a minuscule, 0.16-acre lot, according to public records. The house appears to have been listed for $5,895,000 at one time, and for $4,595,000 at another. The house had been owned at one time by independent filmmaker Cary Woods, who produced the movie “Scream.”
