Back on October 28, we wrote a post about actress Loni Anderson buying a house in Los Angeles' Sherman Oaks area, in the wake of the Los Angeles Times' Ruth Ryon breaking the story that same day of Anderson's purchase. At the time, the deal hadn't closed yet, and we had no independent details on the house.

Now, we finally have a few more details on the house (including a photo of the house taken by Genevieve Wong), and some more information on the transaction itself.

Public records show that Anderson's Valley Vista Property Trust paid $1,900,000 on October 23 for the gated, newly built, Montecito-style house, which is at 14318 Valley Vista Boulevard in Sherman Oaks. The deal was recorded on November 14, according to public records. The seller, Blackbird Investors LLC, is owned by homebuilder Jon Goldstein, whom Ryon discussed at length in her October 28 column.

Records show that Anderson put 40 percent down -- an amount she should easily have had in her bank account given that last year, she sold her Country French-style mansion in the Mulholland Estates area of Sherman Oaks (but with a Beverly Hills post office) for $5,700,000, as we exclusively discussed on July 15 -- and that she took out two separate mortgages to cover the remaining principal of $1,140,000. The lion's share of that borrowing is at a 6.37 percent interest rate.

Anderson's house was not listed in the MLS, which means that information about it certainly is hard to come by -- and will be, until Los Angeles County uploads some exact details on it. As we noted on October 28, Ryon reported that the five-bedroom house measures about 4,300 square feet and that it has five and a half baths, a pool, a spa, an outdoor fireplace and a barbecue on a private patio. Ryon also reported that the house sits on a 10,000-square-foot lot; since the lot was recently subdivided by Goldstein, we don't yet have its exact dimensions, but that looks about right to us.

Loni's new house is in quite the celebrity 'hood. Other celeb neighbors in that precinct have included:

--Rocker Slash, who recently sold his 5,980-square-foot house at 14246 Valley Vista Boulevard (about eight houses down), a sale that we exclusively wrote about on December 27 (we'll of course let you know the sale amount when the sale price becomes available)

--Actress Joely Fisher, who on June 18 paid $3,500,000 to buy a house at 4123 Stansbury Avenue in Sherman Oaks, as we reported on August 4.

--Actor David Caruso, who has owned the 1,651-square-foot house at 4134 Murietta Avenue in Sherman Oaks since buying it through his H Caine Trust in April 2005 for $1,850,000.
