Melissa Etheridge sells six-bedroom house in Hidden Hills, CA for undisclosed price after having been listed for $4.995M; is the house’s buyer a celebrity?

Singer Melissa Etheridge has sold a six-bedroom, 6,837-square-foot house in Hidden Hills, Calif. for an undisclosed price after it had been listed for $4,995,000, and the buyer may well be a celebrity.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the sale of the country English-style house at 5209 Saddle Creek Road in Hidden Hills. Records show that Etheridge’s Alpine Trust closed on the sale of the house on April 18, with the deal being recorded on April 25.

Back on November 19, we wrote about Etheridge having listed the house on Saddle Creek Road. As we had noted in that post, the listing of the Saddle Creek Road house was hardly a surprise, given that, as we had noted in September, Etheridge had paid $5,100,000 for a 6,505-square-foot house elsewhere in Hidden Hills.

As for the house that Etheridge just sold, it was built in 1978 and has six and a half baths, hardwood floors, high beam ceilings, and a downstairs master suite with travertine marble, a steam shower, a free-standing tub, a dry sauna and his and hers (or hers and hers?) water closets, according to listing information. The house also has a granite center island kitchen. We should note that we probably wouldn’t have provided the house’s address (Etheridge’s reps in the past have rapped us for providing that level of detail), but the online listing information for the Saddle Creek Road home explicitly had stated that the house was celebrity owned.

So who was the buyer of the Saddle Creek Road house? Records show that the buyers were two trusts, called the Olivers Estate Trust and the Veronica Matsui Trust. The reason why we at least wonder if a celebrity was behind the purchase is because the money manager for one of the trusts, Marie Ambrosino, has represented various celebrities over the years in their real-estate dealings, including Drew Barrymore. And state incorporation records show that Ambrosino has represented celebs like actress Kate Mulgrew, writer-producer Brad Copeland, the late actor Brad Renfro, and actress Nicollette Sheridan.

So, dear readers, does anyone know who the buyer was of the Saddle Creek Road house?
