Public records have cleared on the third and final property in his onetime three-house compound in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills, and they show that McConaughey snared exactly $3,200,000 for the 4,291-square-foot, Spanish Hacienda-style house at 2605 Astral Drive, which had been listed late last year for $3,299,000.
In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the exact amount that McConaughey, 37, fetched for the four-bedroom house, which he once gave a tour of during an episode of “Oprah.” Now, we can report that McConaughey raked in a total of $6,190,000 for the three-property compound, according to public records.
Back in December, we first wrote about McConaughey havinglisted the houseon Astral Drive. Shortly before that, in October 2006, he had sold the adjoining two-bedroom, 1,303-square-foot house at 2575 Nichols Canyon Road for $1,500,000 to a company called Tsunami Films, Inc. And in February, the actor sold the adjoining three-bedroom, 2,303-square-foot house at 2587 Nichols Canyon Road for $1,490,000 to an unmarried couple.
Now, records have cleared on the Astral Drive house, which is the largest and the final of the three properties in his former compound. He sold the house some time ago, but the sale amount only recently was made public. As we had noted in April when we first learned ofthe sale(but still had not found out the sale price), the buyer is a TV executive producer.
McConaughey’s permanent residence continues to be his Airstream trailer, which is housed in a trailer park in Malibu, Calif.Recent media reportshave suggested that his Brazilian model girlfriend, Camila Alves, would like for the actor to relocate to an actual house. We’ll keep you posted on whether McConaughey winds up actually buying a real house again.
