A mansion in Los Angeles’ Encino area that has been owned in the past by actors Charlie Sheen, Katey Sagal and Kirstie Alley has been listed for $9,790,000.

Built in 1935 and located on a 2.26-acre parcel at 4875 Louise Avenue in Encino, the mansion came on the market on February 10. The Los Angeles Times’ Ruth Ryon wrote about the listing yesterday.
Records show that the current owner of the mansion paid $6,620,000 in February 2006 to purchase it from Sheen’s Hank Trust. Sheen had purchased the home in April 2004 from Sagal for an undisclosed amount. Sagal, meanwhile, purchased the house in April 1997 from Kirstie Alley, according to public records. Legendary singer and comedian Al Jolson was an early owner, the house’s listing agent told Ryon.
Features in the mansion include eight bedrooms (according to listing information), nine bedrooms (according to Ryon) or seven bedrooms (according to public records). The house has 8,387 square feet (according to public records), or more than 9,000 square feet (according to Ryon). Other features in the mansion include nine baths (or eight baths, according to Ryon), a recording studio, a gym, a media room, a new wine cellar, a brand-new gourmet kitchen, and a master suite with two sitting rooms and his and hers baths, according to listing information. Outside are water fountains, a pool, a guesthouse and gardens with loggias, according to listing information.
We’ve written before about the celebrity-friendly nature of this home’s neighborhood, including in December 2007, when we wrote about some of the well-known homeowners in this neighborhood.
