Los Angeles weather forecaster Kaj Goldberg has placed his three-bedroom, contemporary-style house in the city's Sherman Oaks neighborhood on the market for $1,249,000.
In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the San Fernando Valley native's listing of his 2,488-square-foot house, which hit the market on May 18. Goldberg provides weather forecasts for KCBS-"CBS2" and KCAL-Ch. 9 in Los Angeles.
Built in 1938, Goldberg's house has two baths, solid pane French doors, dark wood floors, a great room with dining and family areas, a gourmet kitchen with marble counters and stainless steel appliances, and a master suite with a sitting area, vaulted ceilings, and a bath with a soaking tub and a glass-walled double shower with garden views, according to public records and listing information. Outdoor features on the 0.18-acre (7,627-square-foot) lot, which sits on a tree-shaded knoll, include patios, gardens, a koi pond, and other "zen-like water features," according to public records and listing information.
Goldberg purchased the house in 2007 for $1,425,000, according to public records, meaning the meteorologist is set to take quite a loss on the house.
We have always liked the street that Goldberg lives on, and we're not entirely sure why. National celebs have been fans of it as well, with soap opera actor Christian LeBlanc, "90210" actress Jennie Garth and actress Nikki Cox all having owned property on it at one time or another.
We have no idea where Goldberg is off to, but we will of course keep you all posted. Stay tuned.
