The Pagosa Springs, Col. ski retreat of the late singer Dan Fogelberg, who died in December of advanced prostate cancer, reportedly is under contract after having been on the market for $15,000,000.The Wall Street Journal’s “Private Properties” column todaybroke the storyof the latest news involving Fogelberg’s Mountain Bird Ranch, which he has had on and off the market for the past three years. Fogelberg first had listed the 610-acre ranch, which is at 401 Forest Service Road in Pagosa Springs, for $17.5 million.The Journal reported that Fogelberg had custom-built the estate, which is near the Wolf Creek Ski Ranch. Features in the estate include a four-bedroom main house with five baths and a greenhouse, a six-bedroom guest house/manager’s apartment with four and a half baths, and a heated, year-round barn and riding arena with 12 stalls and a foaling stall, according to listing information.
