The sale price for the five-bedroom, 9,596-square-foot house in Beverly Hills, Calif. that talk-show host Larry King purchased on Feb. 5 has become available.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report that King and his actress-singer wife Shawn Southwick paid $11,750,000 for the Tuscan-style house at 707 N. Hillcrest Road in Beverly Hills, which had been listed for $11,995,000. On March 5, we had written about the house, which was a follow-up to our original item on the purchase, which we posted on Feb. 5. Built in 1989, the couple's new house include nine baths, a master suite with a sitting room and twin bathrooms, a gated tile roof from a 200-year-old Italian monastery, a plasma TV, a two-bedroom guesthouse and a pool, according to the Wall Street Journal and the Los Angeles Times. The couple purchased the new house because Southwick was looking for more rooms and slightly more space than they had, the Times had reported at the time of the purchase.

The status of King's longtime Beverly Hills house, at 628 N. Canon Drive, is less clear. Back in March, we had reported that the Los Angeles Times had written that the 6,995-square-foot house was in escrow. And indeed, the house no longer shows up in Los Angeles' multiple listing service click here for a cached version of their listing sheet. However, our public records databases don't show a recorded sale yet. When we get that information, we'll provide it here.
