Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony list their 7,357-square-foot mansion in Los Angeles' Bel-Air area for $8.5M
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have quietly placed their 7,357-square-foot, French farmhouse-style mansion in Los Angeles’ Bel-Air area on the market for $8,500,000.
Kudos to our friends over at the Real Estalker for breaking the story on Friday of the coosome twosome’s decision to place their four-bedroom L.A. outpost on the market. Listing information shows that the house just came on the market on November 18.
Built in 1941, J-Lo and Marc’s mansion has five and a half baths and sits on a 0.7-acre (30,488-square-foot) lot, according to public records and listing information. Features on the property include specimen gardens, paths, a pool, a pool house, a large guesthouse/studio, and a separate gated entry, according to listing information.
Note how the only photos available in listing information are exterior shots. In addition, it’s noteworthy but not all that surprising that the couple will allow only pre-qualified buyers to see the property.
Lopez and Anthony purchased the house in early January 2005 for $6,250,000, according to public records.
Clearly, Lopez and Anthony have become full-time residents of their 10,084-square-foot mansion on 6.25 acres in Glen Head, N.Y. (also known as Brookville, N.Y.)
Recall also that Lopez sold her previous home in Los Angeles, in the gated Summit area north of Beverly Hills, to hospitality mogul Sam Nazarian for $12,500,000 including furnishings in 2004, according to public records. As we have noted before, that 9,001-square-foot mansion now is owned by chanteuse Gwen Stefani.

The Citrus house is for her parent and her brother Todd and Jennifer live in the Gardner house. She is being a good daughter and sharing the wealth with the family.

What’s wrong with having a big house if you can afford it? Just because you live by yourself or with one other person instead of six doesn’t mean you should be in a smaller place; that doesn’t make any sense. People, by nature, need space.

Actually it wasn’t just two people. Nikki had three kids from a previous marriage who visited often and she had her son who lived with her, plus their had a child together. So they needed more than enough room.
