Actor Jamie Foxx is trying to sell his three-bedroom, 5,428-square-foot house in Los Angeles' Tarzana area for $2,320,000.  Our pals over at the Real Estalker deserve huge props for breaking the story the other day of Foxx's listing of his longtime house at 5370 Vanalden Avenue in Tarzana. All of us real estate gossips had been waiting for Foxx to place this home on the market since he paid a reported $10.5 million to purchase a 40.22-acre estate at 1355 W. Potrero Road in Thousand Oaks, Calif. back in 2006, as we had reported on May 20, 2007. As Your Mama noted, clearly, Foxx finally has moved out of the VanAlden house, and is living full-time over in Thousand Oaks. Clearly, all of us had missed Foxx's quiet listing of his property, given that the house has been on the market since April 18. And none of our sources had caught it up until now, either -- could there just be fewer gossipy types in Tarzana?  Built in 1949 and situated on a 0.79-acre lot, Foxx's house on Vanalden Avenue has three and a quarter baths, soundproofed rooms, orchestral wiring, a game room, a sport court, a pool, a pool house, a great room, a game room and an outdoor living deck, according to public records and listing information. Other features include a master suite sanctuary with a private entrance, an extended living room and dining area with an aquarium, a media theater with a wine case and a powder room, and a gourmet kitchen with a breakfast area, bar, and a butler's pantry, all with granite and marble counters and floors, plus SubZero and Wolf appliances, according to listing information. Foxx paid $930,000 for the house in 1997, according to public records. Check out an online listing sheet for Foxx's house in Tarzana -- complete with photos -- here.
