Actor and funnyman Jack Black has continued paring down his real-estate portfolio, selling a 2,694-square-foot house in Los Angeles' Beachwood Canyon area for $1,462,000.
In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the sale, which closed on November 19 and which was recorded on November 21. The buyers of the house, at 2940 N. Beachwood Drive in Los Angeles, are from Nashville and are not celebrities.
Our friends over at the Real Estalker wrote back in May about this house being on the market. And we previously had exclusively written on September 19 about Black selling another of his houses, a 1,959-square-foot house at 8538 Eastwood Road in Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills for $1,210,000.
Built in 1950, the Beachwood Drive house that Black just sold had been Black's since he purchased it in early 2001 for $720,000, according to public records. Listed for $1,699,000 and later for $1,529,000, the three-bedroom house has three baths with glass mosaic tile and a spa-like feel, and an open floor plan with a living room/dining room/large den all opening to a private, pool-sized yard, according to listing information. Other features in the house include a downstairs media room and a gym/office, according to listing information. The house sits on a 0.23-acre lot, according to public records.

Now, with the sale of the Beachwood Drive house completed, Black appears to be down to just one L.A.-area house: his current, 2,766-square-foot house on about an acre at 1735 Monte Cielo Court in Beverly Hills, which he has owned since buying it in 2005 for exactly $3,000,000.
