Actor, comedian and musician Jack Black has sold a 1,959-square-foot home in Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills for $1,210,000.

In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on Black's sale of the house, which is at 8538 Eastwood Road in the Hills.

Built in 1958, the Eastwood Road house sits on almost a quarter-acre of land and is on a cul-de-sac just off Laurel Pass Avenue. Longtime bit-part TV actor Frank Marth, now 85, had owned the house until selling it in 1996 for $580,000 to the woman who sold it to Black, according to public records.

Black and his then-girlfriend, actress and comedienne Laura Kightlinger, paid $1,075,000 for the Eastwood Road house in 2002, according to public records. Black, who married Tanya Haden in 2006, then bought out Kightlinger's stake in the house on June 3 for $699,000, according to public records.

The Eastwood Road house became extraneous because Black paid exactly $3,000,000 in 2005 for his current, 2,766-square-foot house on about an acre on Monte Cielo Court in Beverly Hills that he and Haden share, according to public records.
