House in Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills area that once was owned by Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose is on the market for $1.25M
A two-bedroom house in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills area that rocker Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses once owned has been listed for $1,250,000.
In a Big Time Listings exclusive, we can report on the listing of the 1,774-square-foot house, which is at 2738 Hollyridge Drive in the Hills. The house came on the market on July 13.
Built in 1950, the house has two baths (technically, 1.75 baths), tall windows throughout, a light and airy kitchen with an eating area and a skylight, a ceramic tile floor, and a large living room with a fireplace and hardwood floors, according to public records and listing information. Outdoor features on the very secluded, 1.35-acre parcel include a lagoon pool, a grassy pad and an exotic palm grove according to public records and listing information. We in particular chuckled at the fact that the house is described as being “Hockney-esque,” both because 1) we wrote about artist David Hockney’s actual L.A.-area real estate back in 2008; and 2) we actually once met (and were photographed with) the master himself, back in 2007 at an art gallery in L.A. We’re not sure that this house is worthy of an adjective as lofty as “Hockney-esque,” but we do see what the listing agent was trying to get at.
As for Rose, he owned the house until selling it in 1992 for $640,000, according to public records.

The Citrus house is for her parent and her brother Todd and Jennifer live in the Gardner house. She is being a good daughter and sharing the wealth with the family.

What’s wrong with having a big house if you can afford it? Just because you live by yourself or with one other person instead of six doesn’t mean you should be in a smaller place; that doesn’t make any sense. People, by nature, need space.

Actually it wasn’t just two people. Nikki had three kids from a previous marriage who visited often and she had her son who lived with her, plus their had a child together. So they needed more than enough room.
